Richard Larry Fenwick, died on August 31, 2010 in Waldorf, MD. Richard was born on April 8, 1947 in Pomfret, MD. He was the son of the late Dudley P. Fenwick and the late Carrie Ware Fenwick.

Richard was educated in the Charles County Public School System. He later met and married Mary Elizabeth (Butler) Fenwick on June 19, 1987. Larry was a dedicated husband and father of Jacqueline Marie (Butler) Douglas. He also was very dedicated to his two grandsons, Junior and Andy who he Cherish so dearly. He had much love for all who surrounded him. He was the only man in Waldorf who really knew how to play SPADES & HORSE SHOES and if you let him tell it, he could not be beat. He was always the best. He also had a great passion for fishing. And let's not leave out the WASHINGTON REDSKINS, who he owned.

Larry was a very hard worker. He was employed for 22 years at Waste Management. He then moved on to hold two jobs at Charles County Board of Education. and Reliable Construction where he later retired.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; brothers, Edward, James and Johnnie Fenwick; sisters, Doris Ann Fenwick & Mary Delores Brawner; niece, Gleness Brawner; nephew, James Brawner; goddaughter, Michelle Fenwick.

He leaves to cherish his devoted wife, Mary (Butler) Fenwick, daughter, Jacqueline Marie Douglas, two grandsons, Junior and Anthony Hurd; one great-grandson, Jeremiah Hurd; son-in-law, William Douglas; brothers, Mack and Lawrence Fenwick; sisters, Sarah Collins and Lucille Hicks; brothers-in-law, Joseph Dorsey, William Collins, Sr., Charles Brown, Joseph (Morris) Briscoe, James Johnson and Clarence Butler; sisters-in-law, Mary (Geneva) Briscoe, Margaret (Jean) Davis, Margaret (Rainey) Ford, Theresa (Ethel) Fenwick, special niece, Brenda (Pokey) Gray; godsons, David Fenwick and Jermawn (Ty-D-Bol) Ford, Sr., goddaughters, Natasha Briscoe and Linda Gordon and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Viewing, 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland. Interment, Church Cemetery.
