Richard Lee "Dickie" Magill Sr. of Hughesville, Maryland died on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 62 years old.

Born January 8, 1945 in Washington, DC, he is the son of James M. Magill and the late Sara E. Magill. He worked as a blacksmith and in his spare time enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising chickens and race horses.

In addition to his father, Mr. Magill is survived by his wife of 43 years Carolyn Lee Magill; daughters Brenda Lee Register and her husband Mike, Sandra Lee Morris and her husband Mark; son Richard Lee Magill Jr. and his wife Michelle; sister Linda Hattaway; brothers Ronald Magill, John Magill and Mark Magill; grandchildren Alex Register, Marc Register, Amanda Morris-Larkins, Cody Morris, Miranda Morris, Samantha Magill and Justin Magill.

Memorial services at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Old Fields Episcopal Church 15837 Prince Frederick Road Hughesville, Maryland 20637. Interment will be private.
