Mrs. Mason was a Self-Employed Entrepreneur in Sales for most of her life as well as a Distributor for Monavie Juice and a Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of Victory Christian Ministries in Camp Springs, MD. She was born and raised in Virginia, the daughter of a minister. She was very artistic and loved helping others, always with a good heart. In her latter years, she worked as a Volunteer with the Spring Dell Center.

She was daughter of the late Wilbur Hunter Grose and the late Mary Cleo Fauver

She was predeceased by her parents, and one late daughter, Katrina Lynn Cook.

She was survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles Edward Mason, two sons, Chris Alan and Jeffrey Hunter McDonnell, both of Waldorf, MD, one daughter, Sherrie Denise Scott of Aquasco, MD, one son-in-law, Jerry Cook of Fort Washington, MD, two sisters, Merrie Jean Schaidt of VA, and Patricia Ann Sears of AL, one brother, Walker Grose of Frostburg, MD. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 11am till Service time at 1pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson.

Interment will take place at a later date at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
