Mrs. Cavey was an Entrepreneur. She enjoyed bowling and playing various leagues, gardening, playing bingo and other games, spending time in Florida where she was involved in the Senior Center at Indian Lakes by organizing various events and spending time with grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Mildred Ophelia Vaughan Cavey and the late Lee Archer Barton.

Predeceased by her parents and her husband the late Richard Stanley Cavey Sr.

Survived by her children Richard Cavey Jr. Of Montross, VA, Brenda Cook of Bushwood, MD, Bobbie Cavey, Michelle Etchison of Charlotte Hall, MD and Michael Cavey of Silver Spring, MD; her sister Joan Yeatts of Macon, GA; her brother Sterling Barton of Simi Valley, CA. Also survived by her 13 grandchildren and her 11 great grandchildren.
