Helen R. Myers of Newburg, Maryland died on February 8, 2007 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. She was 78 years old.

Born June 16, 1928 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Violet and Raymond Thomas. She was a Dental Hygienist for 35 years after worked as a Home Care Provider who loved to dance and cook. She also loved to spend time at Roy Rogers with her friends.

She is survived by her sons Fred Kaufmann, Jr. and his wife Ann, Mark Kaufmann Sr. and his wife Linda; brother Robert Peterson; grandchildren Mark Kaufmann Jr and his wife Katie, Lisa Kaufmann and Sherry Gilford; great grandchildren Sam, Ray and one on the way.

Family to receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 2PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 10AM with the Reverend Eric Peterson officiating. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery on St. Mary's Avenue in La Plata, Maryland.
