Thomas A. Gannon, Jr., 76, of Waldorf, MD passed away at his home on July 16, 2010.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas A. Gannon, Sr. and Louise Fitzpatrick Gannon. Brother; James Gannon.

He is survived by his wife; Susan Rogers Gannon. Children; Anthony Gannon, III, Kathleen Stephens, Thomas Gannon, III, Patrick Gannon, and Heather Hamilton Brown. Sisters; Louise Calmon, and Helen Cook. 10 grandchildren.

Thomas had retired from the Metropolitan Police Department after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. A past president of the Isac Walton League, F.O.P. and had been a Real Estate Agent as well. V

iewing will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. with prayers at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Peters Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
