Barbara Ann Miedzinski, 68, of La Plata, MD passed away at home on July 18, 2010.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Thomas A. Garner and Rosebelle A. Garner. Husband; John R. Miedzinski. Brothers; Bernard Garner, Louis Garner, Wilson Garner, Thomas Garner, Raymond Garner, and George Garner. Sisters; Lillian Garner, and Marion Coombs.

She is survived by her son; Johnny Miedzinski (Wendy). Daughters; Sandy Thompson, and Nancy Peck. Sisters; Naomi Clark, Irene Edwards, Georgetta Thir, Gladys Buckler, Ruth Creighton, Betty Dull, Rose Matthews, Margaret Wedding, and Ethel Manley. 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Barbara enjoyed to go bowling, and go dancing in her younger days. She liked to play bingo and family get togethers.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10 am with the Rev. Ronald Potts officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
