James "Jimmy" Victor Lake, 60, of Marbury, MD passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Born February 27, 1950 in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of the late Robert Jay and Julia Viola Lake.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing and hunting and his candy (turtles, twizzlers and good & plenty's), he will be missed dearly by his family.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter; Anne Marie (Buddy) Henderson of Falling Waters, WV, two grandsons; Justin and Andrew Buckler of Falling Waters, WV, 6 step-grandchildren of WV, brothers; Vince (Sheryl) Lake of Swan Point, MD and Kenny (Sharon) Lake of Waldorf, MD, also survived by 1 nephew and 2 nieces all of whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David Lake, and grandmother Viola Moran.

Jimmy's Life celebration will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post (293), Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his daughter Anne to help with final expenses.
