![]() James Christopher "Chris" Gardiner, 60, of White Plains, MD, died July 11, 2010, at Civista Medical Center.
Mr. Gardiner was a long-time farmer in Charles County and part owner of South End Garage in Hughesville, MD, selling Massey Ferguson farm equipment. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD. He loved farming, working on tractors and equipment and his vacations to Hawaii. Born October 12, 1949, in Washington, DC he was the son of the late James Rudolph Gardiner and the late Mary Edith Mudd Gardiner. Predeceased by his parents. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna E. Gardiner; son, James Christopher Gardiner, II and his wife Asia of La Plata, MD; daughters, Falisha "Sissy" Herbic of HI; Cynthia Gardiner of FL; brother, Steve Gardiner of King George, VA; sister, Cathy Alvey of Westmoreland, VA. Also survived by two grandchildren, Lee and Aranna Gardiner. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2010, from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 17, 2010, at 10AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD. Fr. Edward Dougherty will officiate. Interment will be private.
