Raymond Ersaul Brubeck, Jr., 76 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Landover, MD, died on July 6, 2010 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Born on June 16, 1934 in Hot Springs, VA, he was the son of the late Raymond Ersaul Brubeck and the late Ruth Ryder Brubeck Taylor. Mr. Brubeck worked in the Federal Government as a Supervisor. Prior, he served in the U.S. Airforce. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed following current events and politics.

Survived by a sister, Alice B. Bogan, a brother and his wife, Adam S. and Laura Brubeck, nieces and nephews, Janice E., Calvin, Jr., Michael, and Patrick Bogan, Kathy, Chip, and Jim Downey, granddaughters, Karina and Riana, companion, Satchie Robinson, and many other relatives and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 with Pastor Dennis Fay officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
