Jayson Michael Shooks, 21 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Clinton, MD, died on July 4, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Born on April 26, 1989, he was the son of Robert Charles and Rita Ann Dinora Shooks of Mechanicsville, MD. Jayson was a 2007 graduate of Chopticon High School. He installed flooring. His enjoyments were body building, football, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two sisters, Lisa Marie Wildoner, Vicki-Jo Delaney, a brother, Robert Charles Shooks, III, aunts and uncles, Daniel and Mary Walsh, Michael and Jackie Dinora, JoAnn Steele, Louise and Milton Morales, Patricia and Kathleen Shooks, Susan and George Krebs, nieces and nephews, Gabrielle Beale, Kristina Harty, Brianna, Katilyn, and Brooke Delaney, Emily, Hannah, Nicholas and Michael Shooks, also great niece, Jayden Harty, and numerous cousins.

A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 2-4 & 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside, 37575 Chaptico RD, Chaptico, MD with Rev. Timothy Baer officiating.
