Mrs. Ferber was an Assistant Loan Processor with Walker & Dunlop Mortgage Bankers for 20 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata, MD. In her earlier years, she worked for C&P Telephone Co. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Valley Lee Fire Department and the Lexington Park Bowling League. She enjoyed hand painting china.

Daughter of the late Gustav Julius Kubert and the late Augusta Schartner Kubert.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband, Jack W. Ferber; one brother, Wilbert Kubert; and one sister, Olga Kubert.

Survived by two daughters, Dianne E. (William) Shisler of White Plains, MD, and Dorothy J. (Arthur) Walker of Olney, MD; one son, Jack W. (Joan) Ferber of FL. Also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Friends received on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 5-8 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church.

Clergy: Rev. Charles Long.

Interment: Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
