June Belle Hobbs, 76 of Leonardtown, MD, formerly of Brandywine, MD, died on June 22, 2010 at her residence.

Born on April 12, 1934 in Union City, MI, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Louie and Marie White Karker. Mrs. Hobbs was a homemaker. Her enjoyments were crafts, decorating for Christmas, landscaping her yard, listening to classical music, reading, listening to books on tape of Mary Higgins Clark stories, visiting Lancaster, PA to shop the area's Amish businesses and the outlets, watching cooking shows and cooking lasagna and apple cake for her family.

Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Horatio Hobbs.

Survived by her children and their spouses, D. Ralph and Jacqueline Hobbs, Jeff L. and Lynn Hobbs, Sandra R. and Brian Hood, Tina M. and Greg Payne, and Jennie A. and James Secker, siblings, Sherry, Grace, Donna Dove, Jimmy, Gary, Bobby, and John Karker, and nine grandchildren.

A Life of Celebration will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
