R. Page Ramsey, 69, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on June 16, 2010 at his home. Page was born September 19, 1940 in Prince Frederick, MD to the late Nellie Sarah Hooper and John Douglas Ramsey, Sr. Page retired from the State of Maryland in 1990 where he worked as a Correctional Officer.

Beloved husband of Phyllis N. Ramsey, father of Lisa Meyers and her husband Les Meyers, Jr. of Prince Frederick, MD. Grandfather of Amanda Lynn Bearns and her husband Charles, Morgan Payge Meyers, and Trent Hayden Meyers, great grandfather of Charlie Bearns, Page is survived by his adopted son Rodney Irons and Teanie Selig and Jim Ramsey .

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, PA, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday June 18, 2010 where services will be held on Saturday June 20, 2010, 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery, Barstow, MD. Pallbearers are Dink Dennison, Vann Todd, Mark Balcerak, Donnie Poole, Rodney Irons and Mike Dean. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Ramsey, Robert Shifflett, John Atkinson and RJ Irons.
