Charles Christopher Luffey, 43, of Lexington Park, MD passed away at home on June 15, 2010. Known as Chris to his friends and family, he was an expert carpenter and craftsman whose abilities and expertise will be missed.

Chris was born in Leonardtown, MD on July 1, 1966 to Charles and Lois Luffey of Lexington Park. A graduate of Great Mills High School, he lived in St. Mary's county his entire life. He enjoyed his work in carpentry and building and his knowledge and expertise was often called upon and he generously gave of it. We are thankful for the time we have had to enjoy his abilities and capabilities and reap the fruit of his knowledge and labors.

Chris is survived by his parents, his siblings; Linda Sanner, Michael Luffey, Karla Warren and Deanna Youdal. Chris is also survived by his three loving children; Benjamin, Sara, and Mary. Other family members include his nieces Lauren Sanner, Breanne Luffey, and Miranda Beale and his nephews; Ross Luffey, Billy Sanner, Gary Hyde, and Dale Warren. We will miss Chris and all he gave to us and remember him as the loving son, brother, and father he was. God needed another carpenter and he has called the best.

Family will receive friends Monday, June 21, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road,Leonardtown, MD 20650 where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
