Jean Lorine Buit, 89, of Waldorf, MD, formerly of Clinton, MD, died May 31, 2010, at Morningside House, Waldorf.

Mrs. Buit was an administrative assistant for 20 plus years with the Prince George's County Board of Education. She loved sewing, gardening, refinishing furniture, and her beloved Kentucky mountains. She was a member of the Dorchester Estates Civic Association in Clinton, MD and did lots of various volunteer work throughout her life.

Born January 6, 1921, in Lennut, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Oliver Naugle and the late Vallie Mae Fritts Naugle.

Predeceased her parents; husband, Harry J. Buit; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survived by son, Jake and his wife Cathryn Buit of Gaithersburg, MD; daughter, Jill and her husband John Norris of Waldorf, MD. Also survived by grandchildren, Jon, Jay, Jennifer, and Jacob and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Service and Interment will be Monday, June 7, 2010, at 12 Noon at Leeds Memorial Cemetery, 4332 Leeds Manor Road, Markam, VA 22643.
