Mr. Neal was a heavy equipment operator for 40 years with Grading Specialists, Inc., of Upper Marlboro, MD. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. He was known as a hard-working family man devoted to his wife, children, and grand children. He loved being at his cottage at the Chesapeake Bay beach, and socializing with his neighbors and friends.

Son of the late John McVey and the late Joyce Elaine Brittingham.

Predeceased his parents.

Survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan M. Neal; three daughters, Laura A. (John) Pawulak of Huntingtown, MD, Linda N. (David) Bossler of Germantown, MD, and Amy E. (Andy) Mudd of Port Tobacco, MD; one twin brother, Barry (Liz) Neal of Cockeysville, MD. Also survived by four grand children, Katie, Jake, Lauren, and Nick.

Visitation: Friday, May 21, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Church Road, Waldorf, MD 20601-2359 from 4-7 PM with prayers at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 11 AM until Mass time at 12 Noon.

Clergy: Father Alain Colliou.

Pallbearers will be his son-in-laws.

Interment: Private.
