Gertrude Gruettner, 91 of Leonardtown, MD died on January 10, 2007 at her residence.

She was born January 22, 2007 in Berlin Germany to the late Fritz and Auguste Tiedemann Kernbach.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed Canasta with her friends, doing volunteer work at church and participating in the sign choir. She always had a way of making others laugh. She is a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Leonardtown, MD.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughter Barbara McCracken of Leonardtown, MD and two grandchildren Justin Ward of Wiesbaden, Germany and Randy Ward in State College, Pennsylvania.
