Mary Margaret Lyons, age 67, of Chesapeake Beach, MD died suddenly on April 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1942 in Washington, DC to Lawrence R., Sr. and Margaret A. (Dugan) Pratt.

Mary was raised in Landover, MD and attended Bladensburg High School. She moved to Calvert County in 1983. Mary was a waitress for many years at Stinnett's and later Trader's Restaurants until retiring in 2003. She recently had been working part time at Roland's Market. Mary was preceded in death by her father Lawrence R. Pratt, Sr. and her husband Robert F. Lyons.

Surviving are her mother Margaret D. Pratt of Chesapeake Beach; seven children, Kenneth R. Henderson and his wife Nancy of Reseda, CA, Flo Barber and her husband Kenneth of Spartanburg, SC, Theresa La Fleur of Sykesville, MD, Larry L. Carneal of Ft. Benning, GA, Toochie Carneal of Lusby, MD, Kimberly Thorne and her husband D.J. of Sunderland, MD and Robert D. Lyons and his wife Missy of Dunkirk, MD. Mary is also survived by a sister Barbara Adkins and her husband Wayne of Chester, MD, a brother Larry Pratt and wife Mary of Crownsville, MD, nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
