Bette A. Whyte, 76, of St. Leonard, MD, passed away at her home on April 8, 2010.Bette was born July 27, 1933 in Baltimore, MD.

In her lifetime, she enjoyed her many cats and dogs and took pleasure in collecting figurines, dolls and bears. Bette's greatest enjoyment in life was being surrounded by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael P. Whyte, mother of Butch and his wife Carol Kachauskas of Lusby, MD, Katherine and her husband Ed Marshall of St. Leonard, MD, Elizabeth Ann Bowen of St. Leonard, MD and Shaun Whyte of St. Leonard, MD. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two godchildren, Chris and Jeff Hutt.

The family received friends on Monday April 12, 2010 from 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A. 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. Memorial services were held on Tuesday April 13, 2010, 11 A.M. at the home of her daughter, Katherine Marshall.
