Mary Cecelia Holly, 66, of Great Mills, MD, died January 22, 2006 in Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.

Born on September 20, 1939 in Morganza, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Coates, Sr. and Kathleen Stewart Coates. Mrs. Holly worked as a Nursing Assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ignatius Holly of Great Mills, MD, two daughters, Ann Elizabeth Swales, Margaret Gertrude Evans, two sons, Francis Otha Stewart III, James Alexander Evans, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Rose Young, Jane Catherine Taylor, Frances Herbert, and a brother, James Victor Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen Jo Evans, a son, Michael Darnell Evans and a brother, James Louis Stewart.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Lexington Park, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The Reverend Mike Dolan will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
