Thelma Fay Howard, 84, of Benedict, MD died April 4, 2010 at her residence. Born February 23, 1926 in Seat Pleasant, MD, she was the daughter of Joseph E. Norton and Helen L. Kidd Norton. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Howard is survived by children, Charles R. White, Leslie H. Eldredge, Robert D. Howard, Jr. and Richard F. Howard, two grandsons, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and one special niece, Joyce E. Jacobs.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O. Box 1703, LaPlata, MD 20646 or Salvation Army - Charles County Service Unit, P.O. Box 2708, La Plata, MD 20646
