Robert Stanley Bayne Robertson, 84, of La Plata, MD, died March 30, 2010, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

Mr. Robertson was a Statistician for 30 years with the U.S. Government and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church "Piney Parish". He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Oxon Hill and La Plata; a member of the American Legion Post 259 in Clinton; a member of the Camp Springs Elks Lodge; and a member of the Maryland Farm Bureau. He enjoyed family and woodworking.

Born January 16, 1926, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Robert Stanley Robertson and the late Pamela Elizabeth Bayne Robertson.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his son, Robert S. and his wife Katrina Robertson of La Plata, MD; beloved companion, Jeanne R. Kahler. Also survived by grandchild, Katie White.

Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2010, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with Masonic Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at 1 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Waldorf, MD.

Rev. Joy Rose will officiate.

Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
