Doris Marie Hedden, 75, of La Plata, MD, died March 18, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Hedden was an accountant with food stores for 30 years and a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church at Chapel Point. She was a United States Air Force wife, traveling with her husband for 21 years. She was an accomplished seamstress and crocheter. She enjoyed creating items for craft fairs in Washington State and in later years in her home in Maryland. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Born May 22, 1934, in Bristol, TN, she was the daughter of the late Frank Goodman and the late Pauline Faw Goodman.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Clarence W. Hedden, Retired Master Sergeant U.S.A.F.

Survived by two daughters, Cathy and her husband James Witthar and Wendy and her husband Frank Laise. Also survived by four grandchildren, Jessica and Chris Laise, Ashley and Lauren Witthar.

Visitation will be Friday, March 26, 2010, from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial time at 11AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD.

Father Edward Dougherty, S.J. will officiate.

Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
