Mr. Jones was a self-employed Drywall Contractor in the area for more than 40 years. He enjoyed family outings and cookouts and his time at the VFW Post in Bel Alton, MD.

He was son of the late Newton Spencer Jones and the late Margaret Louise Clyburn Jones.

He was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by one son, Neil Jones of Fredericksburg, VA, one daughter, Leslie Jones of Fredericksburg, VA, three brothers, Rudolph Jones of Mechanicsville, MD, James T. Jones of Chesapeake, MD, and Abdalla J. Kahouk of Faulkner, MD, and four sisters, Nancy L. Adams of Hampton, VA, Judith Ann Lambeth of Bryans Road, MD, Loretta Ann Burekett of FL, and Lois D. Smith of Faulkner, MD. Also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

A Eulogy Service will also take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7:30pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Interment will be at a later date.
