Ernest Roland "Ron" Wilkinson, 68, of Waldorf, MD, died March 5, 2010.

Mr. Wilkinson the former owner of Tri-County Sports Store in Charlotte Hall, MD for 18 years. He coached Little League of Waldorf. He was a former member of The Greater Waldorf Jaycees in Waldorf. He was a grocery store manager for Coop Groceries from 1956 - 1990. He loved sports, the Redskins, and playing poker. He was a great father, husband and grandfather.

Born August 11, 1941, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Ray Sylvester Wilkinson and the late Lela Louise Viar.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosemary Wilkinson; sons, Michael B. Wilkinson of Waldorf, MD; Glenn R. Wilkinson of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Karen A. Wagner of Waldorf, MD; brother, Walter Wilkinson; sisters, Brenda McDonough of PA; Barbara Helff of SC, Donna Rae Mason of VA. Also survived by four grandchildren, Kelly Kristy, Steven and Melissa and three great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Caleb and Shane.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 2010, 12Noon until 2PM, at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Raymond Funeral Chapel, beginning at 2PM.

Fr. Thomas Crowley will officiate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
