Earl Thomas Manuel of White Plains, Maryland, died on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 68 years old.

Born on October 30, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Emma L. Manuel and the late Earl I. Manuel. Mr. Manuel worked as a truck driver for Interstate Motor Freight and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 639. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, spending time with his grandkids and his dogs Wolf, Lady and Girl.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Kathleen Marie Sammons and granddaughter Christine Sammons.

He is survived by his daughter Tina Lee Stone and her husband Pat of White Plains, MD; sister Barbara Patterson of Clinton, MD; grandchildren John Thomas Smith, James Patrick Stone Jr. and Rebecca Marie Stone; his former wife Verna J. Manuel.

Visitation on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 10AM to 12Noon with Funeral Services at 12Noon at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
