![]() Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. She was a nurses' aide in the Air Force (WAC) during World War II, following getting out of a concentration camp in Poland. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Sodality and enjoyed ceramics.
Daughter of the late John Tomczak and the late Agnes C. Niespodcianski Tomczak. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gerald W. Murphy; and two brothers, Frank and Ray Tomczak. Survived by two sons, John M. (Mary Jane) Murphy of La Plata, MD and Robert P. (Amy) Murphy of La Plata, MD; one daughter, Susan (Fred) Hall of Ada, Michigan; and two sisters, Ann Janiak of Linesville, PA and Dorothy Kane of Williamsburg, VA. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
