Mrs. Willett was a retired administrative assistant for the Department of the Navy at the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head, MD for 20 years. She attended the College of Southern Maryland, where she took business management courses. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, crafts, and ceramics. She always had a smile and a kind word to share. She was a friend to many and loved by all who knew her.

Daughter of the late Lawrence "Laurie" Willett and the late Cecelia "Celie" Coombs Willett.

Predeceased by her parents; her sister, Cecelia "Betty" Wheeler and her brother, Robert "Bobbie" Willett.

Survived by her brother-in-law, W. Woodville "Woodie" Wheeler; nieces, Marsha (Clyde) Brantley, Pam (Rob) Mattingly, Bonnie (Paul) Hood, and Shelley (John) Horne; great nieces and nephews, Kim and Kirk Bonner, Ashley and Jordan Davis, Kinley and Cameron Horne, Caden and Julia Hood. Also survived by great great nieces, Tamra and Taylor Bonner and Tyler Davis; a great great great nephew, Adron Bonner and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2010, from 10-11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 1, 2010, at 11:30AM, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Father Mark Smith will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers: John Home, Paul Hood, Kirk and Taylor Bonner, Barry Hurlbert, Joel Gregory, and Clyde Brantley.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Indian Head, MD OR St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pomfret, MD.
