Alice M. Cady, age 81, of Prince Frederick, MD died February 24, 2010 at Calvert County Nursing Center. She was born in New York April 6, 1928 to Frank and Margaret (Bruce) Sherrick She was raised and educated in New York City.

She was married to Bernard F. Cady, Jr., a firefighter in Washington, DC.

Mrs. Cady was a retired Federal Government employee. She later was employed part time at the Calvert County Health Department until her illness. Alice enjoyed crafts and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard F. Cady Jr., a sister Dorothy and Brother Thomas. Surviving are her daughter Terry Standridge and her husband Cliff of Huntingtown, MD, her son Thomas Cady and his fiancée Eileen Joseph of North Beach, MD and grandchildren Michael Standridge of Annapolis, MD and Kelly Standridge of Hartford, CT.
