Thomas C. Welch, Sr. of Charlotte Hall, Md. Died on February 21, 2010 at his home. He was born on February 3, 1929 in St. Inigoes, Md. to the late Joseph P. Welch and Ellen Rose Stone Welch. He is also predeceased by his brothers Rody Welch, Earl Welch, Locker Welch, sisters Lillian Lawrence, Claudia Anderson, and Charlotte Reisen.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Welch, sons Jack Welch, Harold Welch, Thomas Welch, Jr., and daughter Tina Welch. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Mr. Welch was a farmer and waterman and enjoyed hunting.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 25, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home La Plata, Md. 20646. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday 11am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Newport, Md. Interment will follow at the Holy Ghost Church Cemetery Issue, Md.
