Dorothy J. Kinter, beloved wife of Eric Kinter, died peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2010 after a battle with cancer and Alzheimers. Her husband and daughter, Sharon, were at her bedside.

Mrs. Kinter and her late husband, Ernest Alexander, were charter members of Trinity Baptist Church in Waldorf, MD. Later marrying Mr. Kinter, also a charter member, they continued to serve the Lord faithfully. Her joy was being with family, which showed through in her smile and laughter.

She was daughter of the late Leon Augustus Rolin and the late Leona Layton.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Ernest Alexander; 8 brothers; and 2 sisters.

She was the wife of Eric Kinter; mother of one son, David Alexander of Lusby, MD; two daughters, Sharon Burgess of Warren, MI and Sandra Buckner of Ashville, NC; sister of Rita Warren of Bushnell, FL and Jeanette Peeples of Kingsland, GA. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, from 10AM to 12 Noon at Trinity Baptist Church, 2671 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.

A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 12 Noon at Trinity Baptist Church.

Rev. John Farris will officiate.

Interment will be at MD Veterans Cemetery - Cheltenham, MD.
