Eusebio Reyes, 85, of Waldorf, MD, died January 5, 2010, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Mr. Reyes was a retired Tech Sergeant with the United States Air Force having served 30 years. During his service time he received the Bronze Service Star in 1945 along with the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Ribbon. In 1953 he received the National Defense Service Medal. In 1960 he received the Air Force Longevity Service Award. He was a life member of the VFW and the Latin American Club. After retiring from the Air Force in 1971 at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC, he worked for Lockheed Aircraft, Inc. Following his retirement he enjoyed working around the house especially taking care of his yard.

Born November 19, 1924, in McAllen, TX, he was the son of the late Jorge Reyes and the late Teofila Sarmienta Reyes.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his wife, Guadalupe Reyes; sons, David and his wife Sue Reyes of La Plata, MD; George and his wife Kim Reyes of Waldorf, MD; and Fred Reyes of Waldorf, MD; daughters, Juanita and her husband William Cornette of Clinton, MD; and Estela and her husband Dave Short of Roanoke, VA. Sister, Guadalupe Martinez of McAllen, TX; 14 grandchildren, Jenna, Hanna, Emma, Jesse, Charles, Chris, George, Jennifer, Leah, Carrisa, William, Royce, Ashley, and Amber; one great grandchild, William.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, 2010, from 3PM to 6PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD, with prayers at 5PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 11, 2010, at 10:30AM, at Our Lady Help of Christians, Waldorf, MD.

Fr. Tom Crowley will officiate.

Pallbearers will be his sons.

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 2PM with full Air Force Honors.
