Elizabeth Louise Haymans, 69 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Suitland, MD died December 30, 2009 at Washington Hospital Center. Born September 13, 1940 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late James William Beardmore and Ruth Helen Phillipps Beardmore.

Beth was a homemaker who loved movies, especially "Casablanca", "A Christmas Story", Johnny Depp and her favorite song, "As Time Goes By" by Tin Pan Alley. She was an avid reader of authors like, "Dean Koontz" and "Stephen King". Her family was her special love, especially going to any sports or school activity involving her grandchildren. She also decided 18 years of service to the District Heights Police Department.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Haymans was predeceased by her husband, John S. Haymans.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Haymans and his wife, Alexandra; daughter, DeAnna Haymans; sister, Janet Bragunier and husband, Ronald from Duck, NC and grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson, John Robertson, Cameron Haymans, Jackson Haymans and Garrett Haymans.

The family will receive friends for Elizabeth's Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A service will be held at 7:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Jessee Neat. Following the prayer service, the family invites everyone to join them at Christ Church Fellowship Hall in Chaptico, MD for refreshments and compainionship.
