Charles William "Chuck" Swaniger, Jr., 55, of Lusby, MD, formerly of Beltsville, MD passed away at his residence on January 3, 2010. He was born on January 15, 1954 in Youngstown, OH to the late Charles William Swaniger, Sr. and the late Delores Jean Reed.

Chuck graduated from Duval High School in Lanham, MD and went on to retire in 2005 after working for over 25 years as an Auto Mechanic. He moved to Lusby from Beltsville in 2005. He loved baseball, football, NASCAR racing, and bowling.

Chuck is survived by his siblings, Pam Garner and Terry Swaniger both of Lusby, MD; nephews, Joe, Charles, Austin, and Gary; and great nieces and nephews, Joe, Derek, Natalia, Cowan, Love, Shyre, Mary, and Cam.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 9, 2010 at 1PM in the Rausch Funeral Home Chapel, Lusby, MD with Pastor Steve Fehrman officiating.
