Mary Alice Moyer, 61 of Hughesville, MD died on December 29, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD. Born on April 19, 1948 in Fredericksburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thurston Brown Taylor and Elizabeth L. Cox and step-mom Tina Taylor.

Mrs. Moyer worked at Pam's Hallmark. Her enjoyments were gardening, country music, and loved spending time with her family especially with her nieces and nephews.

Survived by her husband, Lou Moyer, siblings, Bettie Smith, Judy Sharp, and Jerry Taylor, nieces and nephews, Jessica, Sydney, Dustin, Colby, Brandon, Jacob, and Jerry Saylor, Christopher Anderson, Heather Anderson Goble. Sister-in-laws, Debbie Taylor , Linda Anderson and Nancy Moyer.

Family will receive friends to Celebrate Mary's Life on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd.,/ Rt. 5 Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 17400 Aquasco Rd.,/ Rt. 381 Brandywine, MD. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
