Larry Steven Middfledorf, Jr., age 39, of North Beach, MD died December 28, 2009 at Washington Hospital Center. He was born in Cheverly, MD on June 26, 1970 to Ann (Sichert) Middledorf and the late Larry S. Middledorf.

Larry was a 1989 graduate of Northern High School and was employed as a chef at Neptune's restaurant and most recently at Trader's restaurant in Chesapeake Beach. Larry was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed NASCAR and basketball, and most of all the Washington Redskins and Washington Capitals. He also enjoyed the hard rock music of the late 80's and early 90's, and sweet treats, especially chocolates. Larry was devoted to his mother and appreciative of her care. He enjoyed watching "The Young and The Restless" with her.

He is survived by his parents Anne and Fred Kaufmann of North Beach, MD; sisters Christy Middledorf on Chesapeake Beach, MD and Sherry Gifford (Dickie) of Louisville, KY, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane, Owings, MD. Services and interment will be private.
