Paul W. Swann, 66, of Waldorf, MD passed away on December 27, 2009 at Washington Hospital Center.

He is preceded in death by his Mother; Mary Grace Thompson Swann and sister; Doris Proctor.

He is survived by his Father; Thomas R. Swann. Sons; Paul W. Newman, and Paul W. Swann, Jr. Daughters; Paula W. Swann, and Catrina A. Swann. Brothers; Leander Swann, Francis Swann, Joseph Swann, Mikinley Swann, Erby Swann, and John Swann. Sisters; Teresa Swann, Catherine Carroll, Jackie Woodland, and Elizabeth Puckett. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Paul enjoyed going to Flea Markets, Car Washes, watching Westerns, the outdoors, talking, driving around, and spending time with his family and friends. He was retired from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission after 35 years of service.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 8:30 am until time of Mass at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
