Rita Jeaneatte Morrison,89, of North Beach, MD, died December 17, 2009 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1920 in Washington, D.C. to Matthew William and Bridget O'Toole Morrison.

She was raised in the District where she lived until moving to Lanham, MD in 1970 and to Calvert County in 1985. She was employed as a secretary, and in her spare time enjoyed reading, watching television, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She also loved animals.

She is survived by her loving sister Theresa M. Griffin, nieces Patricia A. Osburn, Christine Woolard, Barbara Llewelyn, and Diane Pluebell, and nephews William, Thomas and Mark Griffin, great nieces and nephews Regina Osburn, Kristina Dillon, Kimberley Osburn and Richard and Kevin Osburn, and special friends Mary Moody and Mandi Harrison

She was preceded in death by a niece Theresa Griffin and a nephew Franklin Griffin.
