Charles William Hardisty was born on May 27, 1920 in Burnt Mills, MD Mr. Hardisty served his country during WW II in the US Army Air Corp from September 1942 to January 1946 as a Private 1st Class. While serving his country he received a Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon and the World War Victory Ribbon.

Interment: Southern Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the US Air Force. Bags pipes were played by his great grandson Steven Birchfield.
