Bob was loved and cherished by his parents, Peggy Goldsmith and Vincent Goldsmith, Jr., and also by their respective long-time partners Don Dalzell and Audrey Niemeyer.

He also leaves behind his older brother, Vincent Goldsmith III, his niece, Kody Michele Goldsmith, and his nephew, Vincent Goldsmith IV.

In addition there are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who loved him.

Bob was predeceased by his grandparents, Albert and Mary Ellen McIntosh and Mildred and Vincent Goldsmith, Sr., as well as his uncle, Michael Goldsmith.

Bob was born in Washington, D.C. on October 24, 1972 and graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1990. He joined the Army Reserves in September, 1991 and received an honorable discharge in September, 1999. From 1999 to 2001, he completed an intensive 18-month course in electronics/telecommunications technology at TESST Technology Institute, finishing first in a class of thirty-two.

After working in the building business for a while, he joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26 in June, 2006. In January, 2008 he was selected for a five-year course in the Joint Apprenticeship and Training program. He was currently working for MONA Electrical Group.

Bob enjoyed ping-pong, darts, fishing, boating, skiing, golf, poker, and many other activities. He was an excellent cook and a devoted Redskins fan. His family and all of his friends will miss him dearly.
