![]() George Lee Chisholm, Jr., 82, of Waldorf, MD, formerly of Randalllstown, MD, died October 23, 2009, at Waldorf, MD. BORN: January 20, 1927 in Baltimore, MD Mr. Chisholm was a Quality Control Inspector for 30 years with Continental Can Company in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar Scottish Rite and a Shriner. Served in the Army Medical Corps during WW II in Austria where he met his first wife. He was an avid collector of stamps, records, beer cans, and books. His primary interest was in collecting books and memorabilia of Baltimore City and Maryland. His extensive collection was donated to the Library of Frostburg State University.
Born January 20, 1927, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George L. Chisholm, Sr., and the late Elleen Robertson. Predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Ina Chisholm; and son, Gregory F. Chisholm. Survived by his current wife, Anna Smith Chisholm; and son, George Lee and his wife Phyllis Chisholm, III of La Plata, MD; four grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Donald Darmsteadt of Lexington, KY; Matthew J. Chisholm of La Plata, MD; Shannon and Darrin Wang, both of Waldorf, MD. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Rev. David MacDonald and Rev. Frankie Revell will officiate. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Interment will be Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Cokesbury Methodist Church Cemetery, Abingdon, MD at 1PM.
