Billie Doris Wallace, beloved wife, mother, and sister, 82, of Lynchburg, TN, formerly of Lexington Park, MD passed into God's care Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center.

Born September 25, 1927 in Coeburn, VA she was the daughter of the late Arthur Reece and Nellie (Woodring) Reece.

She was an outstanding resident of St. Mary's County for over 65 years. She operated several successful businesses and was retired from the Seafarers International Union in Piney Point, MD. She was a Life member of the American Legion and was a member of the Calvary Gospel Church in Waldorf, MD.

She is survived by her children: sons; Bill D. Hamilton, Rodney P. Wallace (Michelle), and daughters; Yvonne M. Hodges (Ray) and D. Gail Case (Michael), brothers; James "Jimmy" Reese (Shelby "Bobby"), Eddie Reece (Rosalie), Charles "Frank" Reece (Sherry), sisters; Alma Hackel (Norman), Thelma Mayweski (Gary) and four sisters in law; Lavetta Reece, Shirley Reece, Helen Reece and Barbara Reece. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses J. Wallace, her parents Nellie Mae and Arthur Reece, Five brothers; Joseph Reece, Ralph Reece, Robert L. Reece,Sr., Arthur "Wiggie" Reece and Rex Reece along with her precious Great granddaughter, Ashton Noel Whitaker.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Prayers will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Bowie, David Pulliam, Jr., Bob Belden, Steve Pulliam, Rusty Cooper, and Jamie Pulliam.
