Mrs. McConnell was the co founder of McConnell pool and Fuel. She is a member of the ladies of the moose #1289, the Republican Woman and the Red Hat Sensations and also a member of the LaPlata United Methodist Church.

She was born May 20, 1929 in Illinois to the late Leonard and Bertha Fisher.

In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Frank McConnell and her brother Harold Fisher.

She is survived by her children Wayne R. McConnell, Kipling T. McConnell, Shawn F. McConnell, and Cynthia J. Pierce. Her brother Richard Fisher. Grandchildren Dawn Jones, Henry Pierce, Shannon McConnell, Patrick Pierce, Clinton Pierce, Tyler McConnell, Travis McConnell, Troy McConnell, and Trent McConnell. Gr. Grandchildren Skyler Jones, Kassidy Oswald, Wyatt Oswald, and Liam Pierce.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 27th at the LaPlata United Methodist Church from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm with prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday December 28th at 11am. Pastor Edward Voorhaar will officiate. Interment to follow at the Dentsville Methodist Cemetery.
