![]() Mr. Lehman was a retired civil engineer with the United States Air Force for 25 years. He was a member of the Potomac Highlands Shrine Club of Osiris Temple and a member of the Masonic-Valley Lodge #613 and the American Legion Post in La Plata, MD. He loved hunting, traveling, ancient and military history of which he was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He most enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Son of the late Harry Lehman and the late Evelyn Lepley Lehman. Preceded in death by his parents; and two late sisters, Gloria Franks and Shirley Lehman. Survived by his wife, Dolores Curtin Lehman; one son, Richard K. (Cheryl) Lehman of Charlotte Hall, MD; and four grandchildren, Kyle, Westin, Cara, and Richard. Visitation: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Funeral Service: Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 10AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson. Interment: Maryland Veterans' Cemetery - Cheltenham, MD. Pallbearers: Kyle, Westin, and Richard Lehman, Roger and Barry Henderson, and Kenny Murphy.
