Jackie French Horrell of Waldorf, Maryland, died on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. He was 59 years old.

Born on September 29, 1949 in Petersburg, Virginia he was the son of the late Virginia Stucky Horrell and the late Alton Horrell.

Mr. Horrell served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a car salesman who was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed playing golf and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Caryn Horrell; son Danny Horrell; daughters Angie Horrell Bennett and Samantha Horrell Bennett; brothers Mike Horrell, Ricky Horrell, and James Horrell; sisters Pam Horrell Myers and Cindy Horrell Sita; granddaughter Destini Coryn Bennett.

Visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. La Plata, MD where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 beginning at 11AM with the Reverend John Warren officiating. Interment to follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. Pallbearers are Adam Myers, Jason Myers, Frank Myers, Mike Horrell, Ricky Horrell, and James Horrell.
