Brianna was a senior at McDonough High School and the Sargent Major of the JROTC. A member of the Marching Band as a flautist. She was also a member of the Drill Team, involved with soccer, Raiders and Armed Platoon. She was also a member of the Concert Band and a volunteer at the Humane Society. She was employed by Subway and formerly had worked at Quality Carryout.

Daughter of Dion Kirkland and Yvette Crane Kirkland.

Survived by her parents, Dion and Yvette Kirkland; one brother, Connor Kirkland of Bryans Road, MD; one sister, Stefani Kirkland of Bryans Road, MD; paternal grandparents, Pat and Faith Lyons of Belmont, NY; and maternal grandparents, David and Christine Crane of Garrettsville, OH.
