John Henry Taylor, 97, of Park Hall, MD died August 11, 2009 at St. Mary's Nursing Center.

Born July 12, 1912 in Park Hall, MD, he was the son of the late Samuel C. Taylor, Sr. and Mary L. Mathews.

John is survived by his siblings; Rachel E. Christy of Millersville, MD, Samuel C. Taylor, Jr. of Park Hall, MD, Clarence E. Taylor of Dameron, MD, James O. Taylor of Accokeek, MD, and Willie Taylor of Upper Marlboro, MD. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings; George B. Taylor, Charles W. Taylor, Bertha M. Fenwick, Maggie T. Rhodes, and James H. Taylor.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in Zion United Methodist Church, 21291 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
