Paul Robert Miller, Sr., 74, of Cobb Island, MD, died August 8, 2009, at Cobb Island, MD.

Mr. Miller graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA. After high school, he joined the IBEW Local 26 and became a union electrician where he worked for 50 years. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, enjoyed playing cards, watching golf and tennis on TV.

Born June 25, 1935, in Alexandria, VA, he was the son of the late Bernard Francis Miller, Sr. and the late Helen Elizabeth Purdy Miller.

Predeceased by his parents; wife, Marjorie Ann Miller; granddaughter Tatiana Callo Miller; brother, Bernard F. Miller, Jr., and sister, Joyce Miller Klokaz.

Survived by sons, Paul Robert and his wife Susan Miller, Jr., Gregory Todd Miller, and Thomas Dale Carter; and daugher, Shari Ann Miller Harman. Also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service will be Friday, August 14, 2009, at 10AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Interment will be at Andrew Chapel Cemetery, McClean, VA.

Pallbearers will be Paul R. Miller, Jr., Gregory T. Miller, Eric Miller, Travis Harman, Gregory L. Miller, and Bernard F. Miller, IV. Honorary Pallbearer will be James W. Coombs, Jr.
