Robert Francis Taylor II, 37, of Lusby passed away on December 5, 2006. He was the beloved husband of Tammy Lynn Taylor and devoted father of Jessica Lynn Taylor.
His beloved dogs, Missy and Mandy, also survive him. Son of the late Robert Francis Taylor and Virginia Smith Taylor, who resides in Lexington Park, MD. Brother of Lawrence Eugene Taylor of Lexington Park, MD and the late Elizabeth Taylor. Son in law of Clarke and Robin Rawlings of Prince Frederick, MD, Brother in law of Joey Rawlings of Prince Frederick, MD. Godfather of Kenneth Wayne Trader, III, Kelsey Shannon Trader and Kyle Michael Trader. He is also survived by a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and other relatives and friends. Robert was born in Washington D.C. on June 12, 1969 and grew up in Oxon Hill, MD. He graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1987. He went to work Managing a children's clothing store called 7th Heaven in Oxon Hill, Md, In 1994 Robert moved to Calvert County where he went to work as manager/ bookkeeper of the Solomons Mobile/Citco Service Station. This is where he met his wife Tammy. They were married on October 4,1997. On November 26, 2000, Jessica came into his life and she was his true pride and joy. Robert was an avid sports fan, enjoying football, golf, and Nascar, especially Jeff Gordon. His favorite enjoyment came from being a stay at home father and spending every hour with his loving daughter Jessica. The family received friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, Port Republic, MD on Saturday December 9, 2006 from 12-1 P.M. where services were held at 1 P.M. Interment followed in Central Cemetery, Barstow, MD. Pallbearers were Joey Rawlings, William " Billy" Marshall, Mark Marshall, Jeffrey "Charlie" Matthews, Andrew Tucker, Joey Tucker, Jason Pridgen and Bo Davison.
